Intense pulsed light – IPL – hair reduction as an alternative to waxing is a pulsed light treatment which is particularly effective for 80 – 90% hair reduction on the legs, upper lips, chin, neck, back, under arm area, fingers and bikini.
It is essential to have a full consultation and a patch test because each person has different hair and skin types and different sensitivity to pulsed light – this will enable the qualified beautician to assess the outcome and discuss if a program is suitable. It is recommended that sun exposure is limited prior and post treatment for several days.
